Hedera Roadmap

The current Hedera roadmap includes a number of useful improvements.

  • Improvements for future versions of Hedera include the following:
  • Move to JDK 1.5 (1.4 no longer supported)
  • Upgrade to latest versions of JGroups/Appia
  • Implement networkcheck utility
  • Add more tests

Most of these are completed in the Hedera 2.0 branch.  All current users should shift to this branch.

In addition, we are considering topics such as support for quorum notifications and improved interface semantics to ensure consistent virtual synchrony implementations.
