Replicator Monitoring & Troubleshooting

Learn how to monitor Tungsten Replicator proactively and resolve common issues fast, including recognizing trigger-related pitfalls, locating logs, handling failures, and using scripts for operational visibility in MySQL environments.

This session reviews frequent incidents and what to check (status outputs, OS, MySQL state, disk, network), explains trigger behavior across binlog formats and trigger types, and shows where to find trepsvc.log, how to use logrotate, and when to run replicator dump and tpm diag in support scenarios.

By the end, you will know how to enable auto-recovery parameters, decide when to restart, skip statements safely, assess lost binary logs or THL files, and when to reset and re-provision to restore healthy replication quickly.
